Perched above the Kuskokwim, Eagles Nest Lodge is a small-batch retreat for travelers who measure a stay by the silence it offers — not the amenities it lists.

Eagles Nest Lodge sits on a timbered bluff overlooking the Kuskokwim River, roughly two hours southwest of Anchorage. We are a privately owned lodge — small by design. There are no ballrooms, no conference halls, no crowds. What we offer is deliberate: rooms that feel lived-in rather than staged, a kitchen that sources locally when the season allows, and the kind of stillness that makes you forget your phone has no signal.
St. Mary's is a Yup'ik community and a gateway to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. We are honored to host travelers who come here for the same reason we stay: the land speaks loudly when you know how to listen.

Every piece of furniture is built locally. Every textile is natural. We avoid the polished-and-empty look in favor of rooms that feel like they've been here a long time.
River & Ridge Access
We provide maps, gear, and guidance — not itineraries. Kayak the Kuskokwim at dawn. Hike the ridgeline behind the lodge. The delta is yours to explore on your terms.
